The Pointe Performing Arts Academy is designed to train dancers and performers in a positive structured environment. The central philosophy of The Pointe is to offer the best training available to each and every student, whether he or she desires to pursue a professional career or not. Our goal is to have each student understand the powerful impact and influence the performing arts can have in their lives by teaching them coordination, technique, artistry, self-expression, self-esteem, and responsibility. The Pointe offers performing companies for all abilities and a choice in your level of time commitment.
The Pointe also sponsors a pre-professional jr. company of Odyssey Dance Theatre called 02. This company is scholarshiped and has the opportunity to train under and perform in professional shows along with Odyssey.
Our Creative Movement class for children with special needs is a free class that is fully sponsored by The Pointe. These children have the opportunity to learn and grow in an artistic outlet not only in class but also performing in our benefit concerts and spring recital.
