Kristi Hill

Ballet Instructor -

Kristi Hill began dancing ballet and jazz in Helena, Montana at the age of seven. She received several scholarships for summer study with SallyAnn Mulcahy, Gelsy Kirkland, Ariana Lallone, Otto Nuwbert, David Norwood, and the Ballet West staff. After graduating from high school she moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University. At BYU she was on a dance scholarship for four years and a half years. For one of those years she received a half tuition academic scholarship. While at BYU she danced with Theatre Ballet Company for four and a half years. She performed many lead roles in their productions, such as the “Fairy Princess” in Goldilocks Adventure, the “Snow Queen” in the ballet The Snow Queen and other solos with numerous choreographers. While on Theatre Ballet she toured to Colorado, New Mexico, Northern and Southern California, Washington and Oregon. Kristi graduated from BYU with a BA in Dance with an emphasis in Ballet. Her professional experiences are Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, the Queen and a Swan in Swan Lake, Arabian, Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker, and The Queen in The Labrynth. Kristi has been teaching ballet for nine years all over Utah County. At these studios she has put on many full length ballet productions such as, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and the Nutcracker. She has been a guest choreographer for ballet and jazz at Queen City Ballet in Montana. Kristi loves to teach ballet and loves seeing dancers push themselves each day. She believes that working your hardest is an important lesson not just in ballet but in every aspect of your life. Kristi has a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children.
